Assignment questions

The quality I like best about my shot is how beautiful the flowers look.  Its amazing how such tiny little things can hold so much beauty. I put a pink gradient on the image, then decreased the opacity. I also copied parts of the flower and put them in the two upper corners. I also put a Guassiean blur on them to blend them into the back ground. This assignment was challenging during the first part when we were supposed to get the "perfect image". I think is easier to edit photos then to take them.

Ted Talk 

I like how he explained where he got his inspiration from and the message he's trying to tell through his photography. I also like how his underwater pictures; sometimes the water looks like air. I admire the fact that he can still "see through the eyes of a child". I like the fact that even though people say the swamp is dangerous and scary, he still went into the wild and took pictures to show people. The fact that he's using his beautiful photography of the wetlands to show how people are destroying the swamp, I think is a good way to get peoples attention. The images taken at night were there was a few lights, but everything else was dark was really eye catching.
